Contemporary furniture installation within a detached house near Kelso, Scottish Borders
Location: A detached former farmhouse near Kelso.

Project Description
In this unique project, our design team had to work with an existing AGA cooker which is the client’s “Pride and Joy”. The AGA had been installed during a previous renovation of the kitchen area within the property. However, our clients wanted to bring a contemporary feel to the kitchen with their selection of new kitchen furniture and appliances.
Our client selected a contemporary finish from our German supplier Nolte. Opting for a “Frame Lack” Door front in a Shaker style door front in a soft white mat finish. We commissioned a large custom stainless steel cooker hood to cover the entire width of the existing AGA cooker. And set the whole area off with ruby-red glass splashback panels. Solid quartz surfaces were selected to border the AGA cooker and complete the wet areas within the kitchen.
